Frittelli Maritime Group Spa is a maritime company based in Ancona, Italy. The Group is the result of the merger of Frittelli SpA into Maritime Agency SpA, blending together the experience and tradition of the first with the dynamic efficiency of the second.
Founded in 1903, Frittelli SpA operates in the sector of general, customs and duty-free warehousing, loading and unloading containers and loose goods, brokerage of tramp and contract ships.
Maritime Agency SpA was founded in 1986 and quickly acquired a large market share in the sector of passenger and vehicle traffic, and represents the leading container companies. Realizing that the evolution of shipping and ship-owning concentration required a suitable shore-based counterpart, the shareholders of the two companies decided to find a solution in line with the times.
With the entrance of an important banking group into the shareholding of Maritime Agency SpA, it was possible to develop a sustainable industrial plan and create the Group.
The Group can count on a unified management centre, staffed by 100 employees and located in a prestigious 1600 sqm. venue in the historical centre of Ancona, at a stone throw from the port. The Headquarters in Lungomare Vanvitelli manage the various activities, branches and divisions of the Group.
The large number of investments made by the Group over the years extended its range of action to the acquisition of a new asset, the FMG LOGISTICS Storage Facility, obtained under concession in 2019 and located at the heart of the commercial area in the Port of Ancona, close to its most important quay (quay 26), as well as the introduction and implementation of new activities, such as Yachting Services and Bunkering.
